My latest work, Ariel, a collaboration with musician and composer Jonny Rodgers, premieres tomorrow night at the Claire Trevor Theater in Irvine, CA! 8pm.

Ok, so I’m basically excited in a kid-on-Christmas-morning-sort-of-way about my collaboration with Jennifer Lott on her newest piece for dance, Ariel, for which I’ve written new music for glass, voice percussion, cello and drums.  This piece features CT musicians Anne Rhodes (voice) and Nathan Bontrager (cello).

Lott’s choreography is stunning! Performances are this weekend in Irvine, CA at the Claire Trevor Theater - November 17, 18 and 19. I’m up to my ears in projects in Connecticut, but now I’m totally wishing I could be in California to see this! Here’s a little preview clip - a tech preview, so the sound is just from the audience video. It begins in darkness, a whopping 35 seconds of it. So wait for it!!
