Some things I realized this week while relearning Mighty Purple songs for our show tonight:
You make really amazing musical choices sometimes when you have no idea what you’re doing. Knowing theory isn’t necessarily better.
When faced with the choice to play accurately or just kick its ass, just kick its ass.
With regard to practicing difficult guitar riffs, “use it or lose it”.
It feels good, right and proper to play guitar when you’re sweating bullets.
